Parents of King’s College London first-year Mathematics students

King’s is ranked
8th in the UK for Mathematics.
The first year reflects it.

KCL’s first-year Mathematics curriculum — eight 15-credit modules, four per semester — is intensive and fast-paced. UMM gives your student PhD-led workshops mapped precisely to their KCL modules, 18-hour-a-day support and full session recordings.

What UMM delivers

PhD-led. Live.
KCL-specific.

KCL module mapping
Every workshop is built around KCL’s published first-year Mathematics modules. Not generic content, not another university’s syllabus.
Live PhD-led workshops
Four 60-minute sessions per month per module, led by PhD graduates and doctoral candidates with KCL-specific subject expertise.
Full session recordings
Every session recorded and available immediately. Your student can rewatch as many times as needed before their exams.
18-hour-a-day moderation
Post questions to the module forum at any time. PhD moderators respond within active hours. Overnight questions answered the following morning.
Common questions

What parents
ask us most.

Is UMM affiliated with King’s College London?
No. UMM is an independent academic support service. All module references are based on publicly available King’s College London course information. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by King’s College London.
When do KCL workshops start?
Workshops are launching Summer Term 2026. Register your student’s interest now and we will confirm their free trial as soon as their module opens.
Can we cancel if it is not working?
Yes, at any time. No lock-in beyond the current billing month. The UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 14-day cooling-off right applies from the date of first payment.
How is this different from a private tutor?
A private tutor gives one-to-one sessions with no recordings, no community and no exam-specific mapping. UMM delivers four live sessions per month at £99.75 per session, plus 18-hour-a-day moderation, full recordings and a Discord community — all mapped to KCL’s exact syllabus.
